I was going to stay off this fight but I have an inkling that this puppy may go to cards. I think everybody thinks Mayweather is some type of knoickout artist because Gatti corner stops the fight. No one is giving Mitchell any respect and I believe this line is overinflated. No don't get me wrong I think Mayweather wins this one but I don't see the same destruction he put on Gatti. I think and I hope I'm wrong as fan that Mitchell will be on his bicycle tonight. The money looks to good to pass up.

Changing my wager to Mayweather by Decision at Pinny +270, was giving away value by simply betting it going the distance when I think Mayweather will win it if it does go to the cards.

Mayweather TKO by bodypunch. Damn he's good. Sharmba stood toe for toe as much as he could and didn't get on his bicycle like I thought. Let's see Hatton vs Mayweather next!

Did Steele have UNDER on some of the adjusted round props? He could have let him continue on. I cashed on under 8.5, so I wasn't too upset.

I really wasnt impressed with Mayweather much tonight. I think 140 is his limit. I also think this was a test to see how he did at 147 before he steped in with Judah. Most likely that one will be next in April, after Judah smokes Baldomir.

I actually like Judah in that matchup, I think he could catch Mayweather early. For some reason, Mayweather doesnt have much interest in Hatton

I agree with you on Judah-Mayweather. Judah is the class of the 147 pound division.

Is Hatton-Maussa going to be televised in the US? Doesn't look like Showtime is picking it up.

You weren't impressed by Mayweather? He absolutely dominated a good fighter - he was never touched and displayed tremendous power - Mayweather is a different class than any fighter out there - he will destroy Judah - he will beat Winky Wright - the only guy out there that possibly could have a chance is Hatton only because of his pitbull style but it appears Mayweather wants to move up.

I agree Hilo...Mitchell was clearly up at 8

Seymour...Mayweather dominated, but he admitted that he got caught with a few shots that he shouldn't have

I think Mayweather will have trouble with Judah

Box, Mitchell might have gotten a couple of shots in all fight - he is a very good fighter than has lost twice to in the last decade - he was dominated and lost all six rounds and some by 2 points - him not beating the count is a joke - if he got up he had about as much chance of winning a round (let alone the fight) as Gatti did or I would - no one can beat Mayweather and he is pound for pound in a different league than anyone, including Hopkins or Taylor - Judah may go the distance but may not win one round - Mayweather is Jones in his prime - they fight so much alike.

mayweather fights hatton outside england and it will be a bloodbath....hatton isn`t a big puncher,imo...he`s a swarmer...and he`ll get hit coming in...alot...

course,we don`t have to worry about that...hatton ain`t crossing the pond...neither is calzaghe...

matter of fact,i still think calzaghe balks at fighting lacy...even in wales...

i`m not comparing hatton to scott pemberton..no comparison.....but you have to wonder about guys that NEVER leave home....pemberton....spadafora.....calzaghe and hatton.....johnny tapia...eric morel.... and .the germans like markus beyer...

most...if not all of these guys turn out to be pedestrian away from all the perks of home....or never actually faced the best guys(tapia waited until he was past his prime....we`ll never know whether tapia was a "great" fighter...i don`t think he was...he beat nobody..... and morel was totally bogus...protected)....

honestly...why wouldn`t the hatton`s and calzaghe`s come to the states....to build up a following here...vs a few very beatable guys?....

huge t.v. money...it would be a big deal...

the u.s. is,hate it or not,is where it`s at....boxing-wise....
hatton said he`d love to come to the u.s....

just fight some bogus contender....people in the states would love to see him...a white champ...

makes you wonder...

tszyu had 3 fights total since the 2001 bombing of judah....and the hatton loss in 2005....

old j.j. lejia....shopworn ben tackie.....and mitchell....he came out of semi-retirement and beat mitchell....

now we`ve seen mitchell vs mayweather..not pretty...he wasn`t competitive vs mayweather or tszyu.....maybe mitchell was shot...

tszyu and mitchell...35 and 36 respectively....

not sold on hatton as "mr jr welterweight" just yet...

love to see him fight "chinny" miguel cotto...cotto`s been on "queer st." more often than richard simmons in his last few bouts...

like to see how hatton and cotto`s styles would mesh...

You said he was never touched, I was just pointing out that Mayweather himself admitted to getting hit with a few good shots. He obviously dominated the fight, which I clearly stated in my post

It doesn't matter what would've happened, we all know what would've happened but thats not the point

Hilo said he thought Mitchell beat the count, I agreed with him as Mitchell was clearly up at the count of 8, thats all I was saying

You're preaching to the choir about Mayweather, he's been at the top of my P4P list since the first Jones-Tarver fight. Before that PBF and RJJ shared the crown...Hopkins never entered the picture

As you can see in my post, I never said Judah would beat Mayweather, I just said he would give him problems. Judah is much faster than any of Floyd's recent opponents, and he hits very hard. Castillo won plenty of rounds against Floyd, Judah could do it also.

:lolBIG: Line of the week! I agree with every point you mentioned in your post by the way. You think Hatton is overvalued against Maussa? -770ish is a little too steep for me. I will be looking at the line for Hatton to win inside the distance.

Just finish watching the Mayweather fight again and he did get hit several times by Mitchell. The wrong opponent for Mayweather (Margarito) may be his undoing. He's still fast as hell but Mitchell did connect with some shots.
